Annually, on 2nd August, we will remember Roma men, women and children who died during liquidation in the Roma camp at Auschwitz Birkenau. This year, we marked 80 years since this horrific event. We were honoured to raise the Roma flag with the Leader of Medway of Council, Cllr Vince Maple, and the Mayor, Cllr Marian Nestorov, at Medway Council for the very first time. The Roma flag was also flying in Gravesend. We say that we must learn the lessons of history, and yet the world seems to be in danger of forgetting these lessons. We will continue to raise awareness about the Holocaust and all the victims of the Nazi regime
