Medzinárodný deň pamiatky obetí holokaustu

Holocaust Memorial Day is the day for everyone to remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust under Nazi persecution and in the genocides, which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. This year on Monday 27th January we marked 75 years since liberation for Auschwitz Birkenau and 25 years since the genocide in Bosnia. We hold a flag-raising ceremony on the community square Gravesend where the Roma flag and Holocaust Memorial flag were raised. There was an exhibition in The Blake Gallery open for the public and our exhibits were on display with others for a week.

Medzinárodný deň pamiatky obetí holokaustu má pripomínať utrpenie obetí holokaustu počas Nacistického režimu a v nasledujúcich genocídach v Kambodži, Rwande, Bosne a Darfure. Tento rok sme si v pondelok 27.januara pripomenuli 75 rokov od oslobodenia koncentračného tábora Auschwitz Brikenau a 25 rokov od genocídy v Bosne. Na námestí sme vytiahli Rómsku vlajku a vlaku Medzinárodného deň pamiatky obetí Holokaustu. Konala sa aj verejná výstava v The Blake Gallery kde boli vystavené aj naše exponáty.
